Job Vacancy: Policy Manager

DOT Europe, the voice of Europe’s leading internet companies, is looking for a Policy Manager to join our Brussels-based team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of EU digital policy, working closely with some of the world’s leading technology companies. You will contribute to policy discussions on issues including digital taxation, payments, and other key digital policy files.

Main tasks

  • Lead working groups of company representatives and coordinate the development of DOT Europe’s positions
  • Draft and disseminate policy and position papers, consultation responses, and other advocacy materials
  • Monitor and analyse legislative and policy developments relevant to our members
  • Provide strategic policy advice and guidance to member companies
  • Represent DOT Europe at events, meetings and other public-facing forums
  • Build and maintain relationships across the EU institutions and the wider stakeholder community
  • Organise meetings, conferences and seminars
  • Contribute to communications and outreach activities

Qualifications

  • A masters degree in political science, economics, business administration, European studies, law, or a related field
  • Around 5 years of experience in EU public affairs, policy, or advocacy
  • Experience in digital policy, especially in tax and/or payments, is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of EU institutions, legislative processes and the broader policy context
  • Excellent command of English and strong drafting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing EU dossiers
  • Strategic mindset and strong networking ability
  • Positive, collaborative team player
